Rambutan is a tropical fruit almost equivalent to the size of a golf ball. The fruit has a rather special skin that is a combination of red and green with many feathers like a sea urchin. The white flesh inside has a delicious mild sweet and sour taste, surrounding an ivory white seed.

Normally, the rambutan season lasts from April to June. However, at The Garden Vietnam, we apply many methods such as controlling water, covering rambutan trees with tarpaulins, applying suitable fertilizers, etc. to get rambutan trees to bear fruit all year round and ensure the quality of rambutan fruit in terms of deliciousness as well as vitality and less pests.

Our rambutan farms are installed with an economical irrigation system and fertilizing through pipes for rambutan trees. The installation of this system will limit the lack of irrigation water in the dry season in areas prone to drought, and at the same time, reduce the work of making tanks, reduce irrigation by two-thirds, save a lot of fuel and fertilizer. Meanwhile, the crop yield is increased, the fruit appearance is more uniform and beautiful, in line with the strict requirements for exported fruit.

Rambutan is rich in minerals, vitamins and phytonutrients that are beneficial for health.

Thanks to its rich fiber content, rambutan has the effect of supporting digestive health, preventing constipation and providing beneficial bacteria, improving intestinal symptoms.

Like most other fruits, rambutan is a friendly food that supports weight loss because it contains high levels of fiber and water but contains very few calories, helping to keep you fuller for longer and avoid cravings.

Rambutan is rich in vitamin C, which promotes the production of white blood cells that  body needs to fight infections and strengthen the body’s immune system.
